You can download the image from here. It’s one of the built-in backgrounds of Mac OS X. By the way, the image shows the Andromeda Galaxy.
Where do you store all the linked files on your site?
I use Dropbox. You can use it too, click here for a get a free account with 2.5 GB of space.
Where is your site stored? What hosting service do you use?
I switched to NameCheap hosting service since I was fed up to be robbed by MyDomain.com.
Where did you got the URL www.manuelmagic.me? Can I have too my www.name.me?
I originally registered it with MyDomain, but plenty of hosting and domain services offer .me domains. I’m sorry to say that a lot of domains like www.name.me are already taken (as www.manuel.me), by domain trolls that are waiting for selling them to you; try to search on Sedo domain market place.
How does it work the comments service? Is it a pay service?
The service is provided by Disqus, the basic version (the one I use) it’s free.
What software do you use for creating and maintaining this web site?
I originally used RapidWeaver (shareware), a Mac software with some addons. Sometimes I need the help of Cyberduck (donationware) and Pixelmator (shareware).
I used to maintain the site and apply small edits with TextWrangler (freeware), but then I finally bought the superbe Sublime Text (shareware).
I see you use Pieces of Paper theme, how could you make it work with RapidWeaver 5?
Yes, I bought Pieces of Paper theme many years ago and I still use it on my web site, I like it! The problem is that Pieces of Paper is engineered for RapidWeaver 3.6; it works great also with RapidWeaver 4, but it has some problems with the background in RapidWeaver 5. You have to modify some .css files in order to make it working properly again.
In details, you have to go to the folder: ~/Library/Application Support/RapidWeaver/ than press right click on the file Pieces of Paper 1.1.rwtheme and select “Show Package Contents”. After that go in ./Contents/css/body/ where you will find seven files named from bodybg1.css to bodybg7.css; they are the files you need to modify. Theirs present content is something like:

background: url(../../images/bg/body_bg.jpg) no-repeat center top;
}
You have to update the content to:
body {
background: url(../../images/bg/body_bg.jpg) no-repeat center top;
background-color: #FFFFFF; /*this is the fix*/
}
Make sure you do for all the files! After that Pieces of Paper theme will work correctly also with RapidWeaver 5.
